We are frequently asked if Chiropractic care can benefit high blood pressure. Your spinal column,
made up of 24 independent vertebrae, is what allows your body to move, twist, and bend through
every motion of your busy day. It also encases and helps protect the delecate central nervous system
that controls the coordinates every muscle, tissue, and organ of the body. If there is even the slightest
pressure on these delecate nerves it can caause all sorts of organic issues namely high blood prressure.
It is not uncommon for our patients under chiropractic care to experience a drop in high blood
pressure as their nervous system balances. This occurs when two or more vertebrae are not
functioning together properly, it is what many doctors refer to as a subluxation or a misalignment.
These are actually joint dysfunctions that can casue you to experience pain, discomfort, or decreased
mobility. Joint dysfunctions often go unnoticed and can cause miscommunication between your brain
and body.
While there are many causes of high blood pressure the Chiropractic option has no side effects
compared to powerful medications. It is our opinion and experience that the most simple and less
harmful option need to be explored first. The first step in exploring this is a complete neurological,
Chiropractic examination.

Over this past year there has been much discussion rergarding the import of a strong immune system.
This is especially important with the COVID situation still effecting the population. Several things can
help boost your immune system to give your body the best fighting chance against COVID. While
masks and social distancing can certainly be of benefit, of equal importance is your nutrition, vitimen
intake, fluids and proper rest.
At the top of this list is a fully functioning nervous system. Why you may ask? Simply put your nervous
system controlls everything in your body including its organs, breathing, blood flow, and its immune
system function.
Chiropractors deliver a gentle, non-invasive, non-addictive therapy, known as a chiropractic
adjustment. Chiropractic adjustments reduce joint restrictions or misalignments in the spine and other
joints in the body in an effort to improve the function of your nervous system.
To see if chiropractic care is right for your condition, a consultation, examination and if
necessarydiagnostic imaging such as x-ray. Based on the findings of our chiropractic exam and
consultation, we will reccomend a plan of action to get this under control!

We are often asked why consider chiropractoic care for children? There are several answers to that.
First and foremost many back and spinal issues in adults start forming at a young age. Slip and falls,
sports injuries, some while minor are accumulative in nature. Just like a bank account if you make too
many withdraws with out making equal or greater deposits, things start bouncing. The challenge is
kids do not tend to experience symptoms as adults do, as such conditions build up over time.
Chiropractic care provides children with a safe, non-invasive, non-addictive alternative to prescription
medications whcih are commonly prescribed. Chiropractic delivers a gentle, safe adjustment to reduce
jont restrictions, or misalighments in the spine and other joints in the body in an effort to reduce
inflammation and improve function of the effected joint and nervous system. By improving the
function of your nervous system your body has the ability to better manage not only the sysmptoms
but also the returning the body pain free and functioning normally.

These days, women are more active than ever, both in the workplace and at play. Whether you spend your
days standing, running around in heels, sitting at a desk, or working on leveling up your performance at the
gym, routine trips to the chiropractor can help to improve your overall health and well-being, while eliminating
the aches and pain of everyday life.
Below are 5 life hacks recommended by doctors of chiropractic to help get by between trips to your local
1- Invest in a bra that fits properly: 15% of women own a bra that fits correctly, which means 85% of women
are wearing the wrong size bra everyday! A properly fitting bra can significantly reduce additional stress on the
spine and help reduce shoulder and back pain throughout the day caused by breast size.
2- Ditch the heels, when you can: 72% of women in America report wearing high-heeled shoes on a regular
basis and 58% complain of low back pain while wearing them. So how can you find relief if you wear heels to
work everyday? For starters, reduce the heel to under 2 inches, which will help minimize the risk of back and
muscle fatigue. Also, be sure to stretch leg and calf muscles before, during and after wearing your heels. And
finally, consider limiting the time you wear them – kick em’ off under your desk if possible.
3- Avoid sitting for long periods: Each year we spend an estimated 1,700 hours in front of our computers
answering phone calls, writing reports and responding to emails. However, this sedentary work life can take a
real toll on our bodies. In fact, 89% of office workers report experiencing musculoskeletal pain and discomfort.
This is why it’s essential to make time to get up and move. Whether it’s a short walk around the office or a few
simple stretches, making time to move can relieve strain on the body and reduce the likelihood of pain
throughout your day.
4- Adjust your workspace: Pay attention to the ergonomics of your setup, whether at home or in the office.
Make sure your work space doesn’t require hunching forward or neck craning at unnatural angles just to see
your screen. Over time, this unnatural posturing places pressure and tension on the body which can lead to
chronic inflammation, pain, and misalignment along the spinal column.
5- Routinely visit your local chiropractor: Chiropractic is not just a solution for back pain, it’s key to helping
improve a woman's overall health and well-being, maintaining spinal health and proper joint function, which
ultimately keeps your body balanced, flexible and functioning at its best.

One of the most common and widespread misconceptions about chiropractic care is that you only need to see a
chiropractor when your back hurts. Wrong! Chiropractic care is for so much more than just a solution for back pain,
it’s essential to helping ensure your child has a life-time of good health and wellbeing.

In addition to helping your child find relief from back and neck pain, chiropractic care can also help many common
ailments or conditions experienced by children young and old throughout their daily lives. Below are just a few;

Injuries from Falling & Active Play
Growing Pains
Immune System Function
Behavior & Attitude
Ear Infections
And More
